Hello from RE Debbie!

Hello, UUCT Members and Friends. Debbie Carden has been working with the UU program for two months now and she wanted to let the congregation and wider community know a bit more about what we do back in Religious Education. She has a curriculum that comes to her from Birmingham UU Church (UUCB) that she uses.    Each week we do our own joys and concerns (with electric tea lights); read and discuss a book dealing with our topic; and do an activity or two (sometimes it’s an art activity, sometimes a game, sometimes a scavenger hunt, etc); and sometimes we have a small snack, if we have some extra time or the children are hungry. :)   We would love to have some of you join us and see what RE is all about and also let you get to know our amazing children a little bit better. Farewell Service to Matthew & Potluck Sunday - June 30th | 10:00 AM

Sunday, June 30th we will be sharing the last Sunday with our intern Matthew Villarreal at UUCT. Come to hear his message and then stay afterwards for a potluck lunch as we send him out into the world. Bring a dish to share.  The service begins at 10am . Weenie Roast & Croquet on the Lawn - June 22nd | 6:30 PM

Join UUCT for a Weenie Roast and Croquet on the lawn. If you're unfamiliar with the game of croquet, it's a relaxing game played with colorful balls that are hit with a mallet and driven through wickets.  Bring your own chairs. The fire will be provided. Please bring some weenie sticks, if you have any lying around, as well as your choice of food and drink.  This is an evening to be outside and enjoy each other. UUCT CUUPS - Strawberry Moon Esbat - June 21st | 6:00 PM

The Covenant of Unitarian Universalist Pagans (CUUPs) will be celebrating the full Strawberry moon Esbat at UUCT! It is going to be an informal one this time as we see what everyone is wanting. If you want to bring some strawberry's in honor of the moon to munch on you can, but this will not be full food event. Everyone will also need to bring their own chair as we do not have benches.
